- If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with any product you purchase, you may report it within 30 days of receipt for a full refund and or replacement (subject to product availability). Please first contact your local Books Are Fun representative to get a replacement, credit or a refund for your purchases and return any item. If I can’t locate my local representative, how can I obtain a refund or replacement from the Books Are Fun corporate office?
- Refunds will be issued by either check or credit card.
- Please email our customer service customerservice@BooksAreFun.com and provide the information below.
- Your full name
- Your address
- Your phone number
- City and state, school or organization, and date your product was purchased.
- Books Are Fun representative’s name if possible.
- The easiest way to purchase an item you saw on display is to contact your local representative. Our home office does not stock any products so it is best to call your local representative soon, as many of our products sell out fast. If you need to ‘Find A Rep Near You’ please click HERE.
- We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, cash, bank checks,purchase orders and personal checks.
- Personal checks that are returned insufficient will be charged a $30 fee to cover all bank related fees.
- Occasionally your check may take longer to process because book fair reps route service many accounts (some at the same time as yours) by the time they send in all payments from the field it may be a week or two beyond the date of your purchase. Any check may be processed by Books Are Fun via electronic funds transfer, in which case the check will not be returned by the consumer's bank and funds may be withdrawn the same day the check is received. - The withdrawal or charge to your credit/debit card was from a purchase made at one of our local book fairs. The book fairs are normally set up in hospitals, medical facilities, government organizations, high rise buildings and many more.
- We have independent representatives that sell books, assorted children’s books, gift items, greeting cards, educational books, cookbooks, media and other educational items throughout the entire nation.
- The posting of your transaction is roughly 7-14 days or more from the date of the actual purchase at one of our book fairs. It takes a bit of time for the representative to process all transactions from the event so there is a delay before the transaction is actually processed

- Please keep in mind that you may see the charge come from Boulder, Colorado where our home office processes your credit card purchases with 'Bksarefun/imgn Nboulder Co', which stands for Books Are Fun Imagine Nation Books company.
- Book fairs are normally held two times a year. Check with your bookfair coordinator when your representative will be back.
- Typically a title that is very popular sells out fast. On occasion, a representative might be able to obtain more quantities. Most titles that are sold out are final. It is always best to not wait on a purchase if you believe it is popular and might sell out. Get them while they are available as many of our titles are exclusive only to Books Are Fun.
- The best way to schedule an event is to visit our ‘Schedule An Event’ page HERE. You will find an easy to use automated system that allows you to enter your information and it is automatically sent to a representative near you. You will then be contacted shortly after we receive your information. Please know it is recommended that you plan your event 2-3 weeks out so that a local representative can schedule you into their cycle.
- Each Independent Representative works closely with their client to ensure the highest rebate possible. This could range from a sliding scale (more sales, more rebate) to a set percentage.
- There are also ways to increase your earnings by holding outside revenue generating events announcing the upcoming bookfair.
- Sell raffle tickets for a prize to be given away at the bookfair.
- Heavily advertise that a portion of the proceeds from the bookfair are being given back to your chosen charity.
- Work with your representative on other ways to increase your earnings.
