What We Do

Books Are Fun serves over sixty thousand schools, twenty thousand early learning centers,  twelve thousand corporations and many hospitals, universities, government offices and non-profit organizations in the United States through a variety of programs:

• Corporate Book Fair Program - 1 to 3 day events held at large corporations and hospitals once or twice a year, offering a selection of hundreds of different titles to employees.
• School Display Program - Displays of 25 - 30 different books and gifts are placed in the faculty lounges and media centers of schools every six weeks.Teachers and staff members can order the books for their own personal use and enjoyment. Books are donated to the school library based on purchases.
• Business Display Program - Book displays of 10 - 14 titles are placed in small businesses, daycare centers, churches, preschools and Head Start centers for employees to look over and order at their leisure.

Since 1990, in conjunction with our network of over 500 independent representatives, Books Are Fun has been responsible for the donation of over $100 million worth of books to schools, organizations and early learning centers throughout North America. In addition, Books Are Fun programs have raised millions of dollars for employee programs and charities.

Books Are Fun has a long-standing interest in being the catalyst to promote literacy in the United States for many years to come.
